Select grade Tasmanian blackwood gets its grade name because the boards are clear vertical cut there may be light curl in the odd set.. Blackwood Acacia Melanoxylon is denser and more resonant than its cousin  acacia Koa. Tasmanian blackwood has a bright resonant response a wonderful sound cross of the traditional woods.
